No updates and long lived bugs detract from useful app

Overall, a very nice, visually pleasing app, and very good at what it does. I like the reports, love excel export ability, and greatly enjoy the dashboard with the overall view of all of my 5 properties and what each is contributing to the total. However, persistent bugs that do not get fixed despite reports and suggestions sent do detract from usefulness over time. Please listen to user voice! None of the bugs are difficult to fix! First, the list of expenses/incomes screen resets all filters and selections every time I view an item and come back to the list. Its very annoying to set filters, do a search, click an item, then come back and have the entire list reset to default view and my items filter gone. Second, while update claims to fix icloud backup bug, its actually still there -- backup to icloud, go to main screen, go to settings screen -- last backup still shows from a long, long time ago. Third, while I can view breakdown of categories for each property, I cant do the same across all properties in a summary, so cant answer questions like "how much did I spend in taxes this year". That view, same as per - property but with total numbers, would be welcome. Fourth, the app crashes quite often on income/expenses screen when there are many records shown. It also crashes when I try to rename an expense or income category. Finally, a suggestion -- wish the app could either send an email or texted receipt. With last update, developers changed the UI just a bit but did not fix anything; no new features or real fixes in a long, long time.

Half Done

I just downloaded this app and had problems from the start. When entering recurring income/expenses you cannot specify a starting date and then you cannot edit the recurring expense except one by one. I input the 20 year mortgage payment and the app slowed and got unresponsive. Another thing is when entering a new property you can exit the screen without hitting the save button and if you do you lose all the info you put in with no warning. I also found out that you cannot delete an expense once created. You can edit but not delete. I was looking forward to using the app but the more I use it the more frustrated I get as I cant finish what I started. Good idea but half done. It should take into account that there are current properties already in existence. Hope there are more updates to come.

Good idea, bad programming

Problems with amounts which defaults back to other values - numerous glitches and bugs, and calculation errors. Not a good App

No use for landlord tax return

I had hoped to use it to track rental expenses that would yield a year end spreadsheet, that I could, in turn, use to prepare Schedule E. I cant. Although the app exports an excel sheet, there are no images or links to the receipts, but more critical, every expense amount is preceded by"USD" rendering it a text cell. Meaning it cant be used in a calculation. Which makes the sheet, and therefore the app, worthless.
